Renaissance Performers & Musicians:
Performers make up the majority of what makes people go to the Renaissance faire. The following are but a few performers who have either performed at the Maryland, or Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. You can find more performers by simply going to the following website. Click me!
Performers:
Aerial Angels-
Allison Williams, Derek Baxter, Shelli Nock, Zay Weaver, and Vince Conaway, musician. These three very graceful and funny acrobats use the aerial hoop and silk in order to entertain their audience. The music done by Vince allows the show to become even more graceful and entertaining.
Barely Balanced-
What do you get when you come across fire, and knives. You get crazy guys and one girl that make up Barely Balanced. This trio not only does juggling tricks, but also blows fire, and some acrobatic stunts as well.
Free Lancers Jousting-
Directed by Roy Cox. This show allows the audience to enter into the world of the Middle Ages. Knights and squires defend their titles by using a sword or lance while on horseback.
Hack & Slash-
John Davis and Spencer Humm. These two men are very funny with cunning comments to communicate towards each other and the audience. They try to defend the beauty of a faire maiden within the audience and fight till the first blow, or until their purses run empty.
Mudde Show-
Crew of three guys who perform famous myths such as Beowulf. The mudd show would not be as it is without a little bit of audience participation and mud. Sadly I have not seen this show for a while due to the fact that they no longer perform at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. I hope you enjoy the pics I do have within my gallery...
Squire of the Wire-
Michael Rosman. Comedy within the highest heights. He achieves this by using the high-wire while juggling everything from swords to fire while wearing a kilt.
The Bloody Drama-
Bob Garmand, Jack Reda, and Scott Grossman.A comedy act that involves the audience to participate in. Unsuspected viewers will participate within the fairy tale that is performed in becoming a character within it. You will not leave disappointed. You will laugh until your stomach hurts.
